Following on from the huge success of our previous Pink Stumps Day Ladies High Tea events, we are proud to announce that our 4th Annual High Tea on 20thFeb supporting the McGrath Foundation has been booked solid within days of release!

We thank you for the overwhelming support for this event and for those that missed out on tickets this year, please keep a sharp eye out in 2017!

Of course our Ladies High Tea is not the only event on Pink Stumps Day, home games will be played using pink stumps, pink pads/ gloves and pink bat grips will be available for purchase in the week prior, so look out for them.

We ask that the entire club sport a Pink Ribbon on the day.   Pink Ribbons will be available for Juniors and Seniors and supporters for a small donation via your team captains / managers.

Proceeds of these initiatives go directly to the McGrath Foundation.

Breast cancer is an insidious disease that affects a staggering 1 in 9 women.  Please help Rupo support the McGrath Foundation to continue their wonderful work.

The Rupertswood High Tea is on again 22nd Feb 2014.

Our Clubrooms will be transformed into the ‘Rupertswood Ladies Pavillion‘ for the day and the boys will don the pink gear and serve a traditional High Tea to the ladies. (and a little bit a lot of Champers!)

Guest Speakers, Door Prizes and Raffles, Fine food and plenty of laughs are the order of the day.

Rupertswood High Tea is held in conjunction with the McGrath Foundation. We aim to raise much needed funding to place specialist Breast Care Nurses with sufferers around the country and to raise awareness, particularly in younger women. Together we can make a difference.

Please book early as tickets are limited. Tickets are $35 inclusive of High Tea and Champagne on arrival. (Other drinks at bar prices )

What an extraordinary weekend at Rupo.  Our clubrooms were transformed into the Rupertswood Cricket Club  “Ladies Pavilion”  for 65 girls to enjoy High Tea and be waited on by the boys. The feedback has been quite amazing,

“Better than the big city High Teas! Can I book for next year so I dont miss out?”

“Best Rupo function we’ve ever been to!  We laughed, we cried and we laughed again! The food and the organisation…. magnificent”

“Loved the games and raffles, the guest speaker was wonderful and I never thought that room could be so classy. Thank you Rupo for a fantastic day!”

” The menu and the food were so nice!…we loved the day, please do it again next year!”  

” Everything was just so perfect, it did Rupertswood very, very proud……Congratulations”

The above not only speaks volumes as to where we are as a club at present but the goodwill generated is priceless.  Particularly for the ladies, Rupo is perhaps no longer a place to avoid.

The weekend started off well with all junior players sporting pink ribbons and grips and continued into the afternoon when the seniors ‘pinked up’ for the round. Big thanks to the junior coaches and to all the senior captains for ensuring everyone got into the spirit of the day.

The bar was then raised a few notches when 65 ladies descended on the rejuvenated rooms for what turned out to be a great afternoon.

All in all a huge day for our club supporting the continuance of the McGrath Foundations’ great work.  Final figures not available yet but we can report that it will be around twice our initial target!
