Shoesmith Century Wagon Wheel!

When young Rupo champ Nathan Shoesmith scored 112 off 92 balls with a strike rate of 121.74 including 14 boundaries, we were mighty impressed. Well thanks to Rupertswood’s Robert Bond who acquired these statistics for us, we also have Nathan’s ‘Wagon-Wheel’ image displaying all the shots he played which Robert also acquired for us while scoring the match. Thanks for this Rob and a special thanks also to Spencer Mathieson of Wallan District Cricket Club who passed this on to Rob – and well done again Nathan!

Aaron Forward – 287 Runs in one day & Shoesmith Century!

Rupertswood Cricket Club congratulates Aaron Forward and Nathan Shoesmith for today’s staggering display of run-making!

Aaron’s sensational double-ton total of 206 runs in today’s D Grade Match (skippered by Mickey Lamb in Dennis’ absence) is absolutely awe-inspiring. In addition to this jaw-dropping individual score, Aaron started the day with a fantastic 81-run knock for the Under 16’s (in a 165 run partnership with Daniel Kavanagh who also scored an awesome 75!) …so 287 runs in one day – this is one we’ll be celebrating for a long time to come! Well done Aaron!

And in addition, U16 and McIntyre Grade player Nathan Shoesmith also brought up the three figures for his U16 side this morning – well done on your fantastic century Nathan! Up the Rupo!
