RupoCam No.2: Slammer slings it back in on Movember Launch day

RupoCam Video No. 2 is now here and we have been lucky enough to capture the ‘best of the best’ – namely Rupo champ Mark ‘Slammer’ Ryan showing just how it should be done in the field on game day. As Saturday 27 October was also our Rupo Movember Team Launch Day, it was fortuitous we could capture Mark – sporter of a fine moustache himself, sprinting towards the ball, sliding along the ground and shooting it back in to the keeper with fine accuracy. This is the stuff we live for. Don’t forget to join our Movember team through our Facebook page links and help raise vital funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health or visit our team page directly at:

RupoCam: Warren Hall ready for Season Opener!

In a Rupertswood Cricket Club first, we unveil the first “RupoCam” video ever!
In the first of many “RupoCam” videos to come, our champion batsman and Rupertswood Cricket Club Life Member Warren Hall displays his fine pre-season form in the nets.
Warren’s batting skill is evident here as we see his measured approach to tight bowling, but woe to he who wavers in line or length, as Wazza is well prepared to “put it away” if he sees you stray!

Callout for Volunteers this Sat 15th 8am

Anyone with concreting experience (even a tiny bit is good enough!) – Wayne Withers would love your help (for a couple of hours max) from 8am this Saturday to put the finishing touches on the concrete @ ‘The Pines’ oval (Rupo Ground No.2). There’s not a great deal to do but a couple of volunteers would make the job a lot easier. If anyone can spare some time to assist Wayne, we’d all be very appreciative. Please contact Wayne on 0418 322 486 or Mick Riley on 0409 291 537 if you can lend your assistance.
Thanks on behalf of Wayne and Mick.

The excavation work is complete (thanks Wayne) – now for just a few finishing touches on the concrete and ‘The Pines’ oval will be ready for more Rupo victories! Bring on Season 2012/13!
